All our roman blinds are made to measure, fully child safety compliant and hand finished.,  We offer hand operated blinds on a selection of chain colours or electrically operated with remote or wall controls. We use a good quality lining to protect your fabric and enhance the look of your blind and can add interlining and blackout layers as required.

Measuring for a recess fit blind

If you would like your blind to fit in the recess of your window,  it is important to measure in at least three places both horizontally and vertically as windows can vary slightly. You will need to provide the smallest measurement.  We will also require the fitting height from the floor. For recessed blinds we can make the roman blind with small folds to maintain maximum light.

Measuring for a face fix blind

To measure for a blind to sit on the outside of your window, consider at what height you would like the blind to be fitted. This could be dependant on the height above the window to the ceiling or if you have adjacent poles and tracks that you want to line the blind up with. We can  advise if you need help. We would usually allow at least 5cm outside of the window to each side and above or below. However if your window sill is wider you may want the blind to be sill width.  We will also require the fitting height from the floor. Face fix roman blinds can be made in stacked folds or cascade style where you see more of the fabric when the blind is up.
